Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie disagree on child custody issues

Many in Colorado and across the world have been paying close attention to an ongoing situation regarding the divorce and family issues of Hollywood stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The former couple has six children and have reportedly been unable to resolve child custody issues regarding their future care and upbringing. Jolie has made several serious accusations against Pitt, which may be compounding the issues at hand.

Although some say Jolie has been documented in the past saying Pitt is a wonderful father, she has recently made comments that are anything but complimentary. In fact, she has accused her former husband of both substance and child abuse. Pitt has adamantly denied the allegations, and reports indicate that he tested negative for drugs during their custody battle.

Those close to Pitt say he will not settle for anything less than joint custody. Jolie, however, has already requested full custody. Recently, she submitted a further request that Pitt be allowed supervised visits with his children and nothing more.

One such visit is said to have recently taken place. It was apparently the first time the children saw their father since their mother filed for divorce. Many tears were reportedly shed, and Pitt himself became quite emotional. Parents in Colorado or other states who have fought over child custody, visitation or other family-related matters may relate to Pitt’s strong emotional reaction to his current situation. Often times, concerned parents must rely on experienced and aggressive representation in order to secure agreeable outcomes under such circumstances.
