Few individuals have legal needs so narrow in scope that their cases fit neatly into one practice area. Instead, we find that clients often have concerns that overlap several areas. We at The Law Center P.C. take pride in our ability to provide comprehensive legal assistance.
For example: A couple decides to divorce because of the financial strain that one spouse’s spending habits have placed on the relationship. In addition, arguments over money lead to a domestic violence charge, and both parties require new estate plans after the divorce.
Retaining three different law firms to handle these three different areas of practice is impractical and often more expensive. It results in multiple retainers and the potential for conflicting legal advice. The criminal defense lawyer may arrange a favorable plea bargain to resolve the domestic violence charge, but that same action could sabotage the divorce lawyer’s plan to help that parent gain joint custody or decision making.
It makes sense to have a single law firm that handles cases across multiple practice areas. The Law Center P.C. focuses on the needs of individuals and families – handling the majority of legal issues they will face in their lifetimes. Our attorneys and paraprofessionals focus on solving problems with practical legal solutions.

We leverage the services of experienced support staff in our practice. We have capable paralegals whose efficient, behind-the-scenes work can help clients significantly reduce costs. Sole practitioners who have no support staff force clients to pay the attorney’s high hourly rate for work that could easily have been accomplished by a paralegal.
The hourly rate billed by a particular attorney is only one small factor in the overall cost of a case. After reviewing countless affidavits for divorce clients, we have confirmed that our client often ends up spending significantly less than the other party does, even when the other party hires a lawyer with lower hourly rates. How is this possible? It is due to our strategic and judicious use of paraprofessionals to control legal costs. Jennifer Holschuh, our manager of support services, has been specializing in family law cases for over 20 years. Her sharp eye for detail has uncovered cash and accounts the other side was attempting to conceal. Attorneys from other firms have been known to solicit Ms. Holschuh’s insight on retirement accounts and financial matters.
Our law firm is also highly skilled at using technology for our clients. Attorney Robert Wareham has a professional background in telecommunications and information technology, and he has lectured other lawyers and judges on the use and adoption of technology in the legal profession.
With completely digital case files, clients receive critical documents within moments of the documents being filed with the court. Our digital audio and video recording equipment eliminates the expense of court reporters in depositions and arbitration hearings. In addition, all of our offices are equipped with state-of-the-art video conferencing equipment, making virtual meetings possible for clients in remote areas.
Different fee plans exist for different types of cases. Out of respect for the paying clients who deserve our time and attention, we do charge a nominal fee in family law, criminal defense, firearms law and other types of cases. The fee is $250 for a 30 minute appointment.
